People who are starving are not thinking about other anti-poverty goals, Princess Haya Al Hussein said at the United Nations, calling for cooperation and coordination among the humanitarian community to meet the world’s basic needs, starting with zero hunger.

A former Attorney General of Ireland, Mr. Sutherland has served as EU Commissioner for competition policy, and headed the Global Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
The United Nations refugee agency announced today that its programme to facilitate family visits for Western Sahara refugees who have been separated for more than 30 years has resumed.
The United Nations refugee agency said it is seeking to clarify why a family-visit flight for Western Sahara refugees had to be aborted last week, adding that it hoped the confidence-building measure will be able to resume as soon as possible.
