A 16-year old Lebanese girl has been talking of the “exhilarating” experience of participating in the annual Global Model UN Conference at United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The MUN, as it is sometimes known, is an academic competition for school and university students focusing on the study of diplomacy, international relations and the UN itself.

Yasmina Bakkar, from Lebanon, who currently lives in Dubai, has been speaking to May Yaacoub.
