The situation on the ground has changed “dramatically” since a cessation of hostilities between rival parties in Syria began more than six weeks ago, but violations are becoming more frequent.
That’s according to the UN Resident Humanitarian Coordinator in the country, Yacoub El Hillo.
Over the last two weeks, the frequency of these “ruptures” and incidents has increased, he said.
13.5 million Syrians are in need of some form of assistance and protection.
Mr El Hillo spoke to Jocelyne Sambira.
