A new agreement signed between the government of Colombia and the Farc rebel group is an important breakthrough for bringing peace to the country, according to a top UN official in the country.
The conflict between the government and the left-wing guerrilla group has raged for nearly 60 years. The new agreement focuses on reparations and justice for victims of the conflict.
Rocio Franco Riveros has been speaking to Fabrizio Hochschild, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for the UN in Colombia, about the significance of the deal.
