“Amazing and unexpected news” of Nobel Peace award

The award of the Nobel Peace Prize to a quartet of Tunisian organizations has been described by the UN in the North African country as amazing and unexpected.

The Nobel Committee in Oslo, Norway, said the four civil society groups had made a “decisive contribution to democracy” following a revolution in Tunisia in 2011.
