It’s been a little over a decade since the UN Human Rights Council started work to address abuse wherever it is reported and push for accountability against perpetrators of such violations.

On Friday, Member States agreed to set up a high-level Commission of Inquiry probe into Burundi, where there’s ongoing violence linked to President Pierre Nkurunziza’s decision to stand for a third term in office.
