Stress, the unseen and growing workplace hazard

Almost two million people die each year from work-related diseases, according to the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

And while stress might not be immediately life-threatening, on the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the ILO says that it is nonetheless increasingly common.

As with many other unseen dangers in the workplace, the key to dealing with it is to help people identify it, as ILO’s Dr Shengli Niu told Daniel Johnson.
