Providing health care to millions of Palestine refugees has become increasingly complicated as conflict and upheaval persist in the Middle-East, the UN said Wednesday.

The warning, from United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), comes as it continues to help more than five million registered Palestine refugees in Gaza, West Bank, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

In addition to treating conflict-related trauma and non-communicable diseases – the biggest killer among the refugee population – UNWRA’s Dr Akihiro Seita explained to Daniel Johnson that psychological support is also crucial for traumatised teenagers.
