A teenage activist and Nobel Peace Prize nominee is calling for better and more accessible education for Syrian children in a refugee camp in Jordan.

Malala Yousafzai from Pakistan visited the UN-run Za'atari Camp in northern Jordan which is home to around 100,000 Syrians who have fled the ongoing civil war in Syria.

Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban for defending girls' right to go to school, and since that time, has been advocating for children's education worldwide.
