A Syrian refugee living in Lebanon who has fled the ongoing civil war in her country is celebrating an impressive milestone in her life.

Halloum Alamin is turning 100 years old…and despite the problems she and her family have faced since they became refugees, they are still finding the time to celebrate her centenary .
