[UN Photo/Rick Bajornas][/caption]A viable Palestinian state is long overdue, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon told reporters as he arrived in the Middle East for talks with leaders in Jordan, Palestine and Israel.
Ban Ki-Moon met with King Abdullah of Jordan on Wednesday to discuss US Secretary of State John Kerry’s efforts to resume negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
