Measles is one of the leading causes of death among young children and the UN children’s fund (UNICEF) and its partners are stepping up vaccination campaigns among a particularly vulnerable population.

They’re working to combat measles outbreaks in Syria and neighbouring countries housing thousands of Syrian refugees who have fled their homeland due to the ongoing crisis there.
