The UN Security Council is meeting on Monday to adopt a proposal on how to improve multi-dimensional peacekeeping operations.

Two thousand thirteen marks the 65th anniversary of UN peacekeeping, the first mission being the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan, UNMOGIP.
