It took more than a decade, but a group of families are finally returning to Tanzania, after living in exile in Somalia.

The UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR successfully completed the voluntary repatriation of 38 Tanzanian refugees comprising 12 families last weekend.

The remainder of the Tanzanian refugee community in Mogadishu, totalling some 20 families or about 70 people, told UNHCR that they will wait and see how the situation unfolds for those who went back before committing to do the same.
