Journalists call for more protection on World Press Freedom Day

More than 600 journalists have been killed in the line of duty over the past decade, according to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Journalists must be able work in safety because when this happens, the whole world benefits, says UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in a speech marking World Press Freedom Day, observed on 3 May.
