The amount of harmful greenhouse gases in the atmosphere reached yet a new record high in 2014, according to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).

The UN agency’s annual Greenhouse Gas Bulletin has been released just three weeks before the international community gathers in Paris, France in an attempt to reach a legally-binding climate deal.

The climate change conference, known as COP21, will aim to keep global temperature rises below two degrees Celsius.
