Two weeks of deliberations on how to boost gender equality around the world are coming to an end at the United Nations in New York

The international community has been meeting at the Commission on the Status of Women to discuss the Beijing Declaration and other gender issues.

The Declaration, signed in 1995, is considered the most progressive framework for securing women’s equal rights.

Cathrine Hasselberg met with Stefano Gennarini from the Center for Family and Human Rights, one of hundreds of Non-Governmental Organizations attending the event.

She began by asking him about his experience.
