The progress made by the authorities in Guinea in fighting the deadly Ebola virus is being reviewed by a senior UN official.

Almost 5700 people have died as a result of the outbreak in West Africa, which has mainly affected Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

David Nabarro is the UN System Coordinator for Ebola Virus Disease.

Simon Ruf asked for his assessment of the current situation in Guinea.
