Refugees living in a camp in northwestern Kenya are being urged by the UN to respect the “law of the land” following clashes that took the lives of eight people.

Tensions remain high in the Kakuma camp after fighting erupted last week between refugees from Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan.

The camp hosts over 180,000 refugees from more than 20 countries.

Emmanuel Nyabera, Spokesperson for the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) shared with Sebit Williams more details about what happened.
