Getting every UN department to commit to advancing the protection of human rights is one of the highlights of Navi Pillay’s tenure.

She made the remarks during her last interview as the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Ms Pillay said she was pleased her Offices’ “Rights Up Front Policy” was endorsed by the Secretary-General.

She began by answering Elizabeth Philip’s question about what issues have kept her awake at night during her six years in office.
