Pope Francis I invited to UN headquarters in New York

Pope Francis I has been invited to United Nations headquarters in New York to speak about his vision of the future of humankind.
The invitation was extended by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon who met with the Pontiff in the Vatican on Friday.
Secretary-General Ban reminded the Pope of a tradition of papal visits to the UN where the Holy See has a permanent observer mission.
