Women should be playing a more central role in the process to bring peace to South Sudan according to the Executive Director of UN Women.

Pumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka is in the South Sudanese capital, Juba, as part of a three day mission during which she is meeting key government officials including the president, as well as women’s groups.

She has also toured a UN mission or UNMISS camp for people displaced by the ongoing conflict.

Regina Gorle began by asking Ms Mlambo-Ngcuka about her impressions of the camp.
