The UN’s top refugee official has called for an end to what he has described as “indiscriminate killings and massacres” that have been taking place in the Central African Republic.

António Guterres, the High Commissioner of the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, was recently in the county, which has been suffering from internal conflict for more than a year.

He toured a camp for internally displaced people at the airport in Bangui, the capital of CAR.
