[UN Photo/Evan Schneider][/caption]The UN Secretary-General’s Youth Envoy says, “We cannot talk about inclusive development for all without making sure that we are addressing the fact that many young people around the world have no access to information and communication technology (ICTs)”.

Ahmad Alhendawi says ICTs can transform the lives of so many people around the world if they are empowered with the knowledge and the skills to access these tools.

He discussed the issue with UN Radio’s Monica Grayley ahead of BYND 2015 Global Youth Summit, which will take place from the 9-11 September 2013, in Costa Rica.

The summit will be attended by delegates from around the world with over 600 participants and will focus on ICTs and the role of young people on the post 2015 development agenda.
