Floods displace over 18,000 people in South Sudan

Devastating floods have displaced more than 18,000 people with over 1,000 households in South Sudan.

United Nations agencies led by the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the UN mission in the country (UNMISS) have already conducted an assessment in the country.

They are providing immediate assistance such as food, cover sheets and medicines to the affected people.
