[UN Photo/Mark Garten][/caption]The sixth session of the Conference of States Parties of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the CRPD, is winding up its three day meeting at the United Nations.

Penny Hartin, Chief Executive Officer of the World Blind Union, says a high point of the meeting has been its focus on including the needs of people with disabilities in the post-2015 development agenda.

In the following interview, she took a moment to speak with Gerry Adams about the session and what it has achieved.

But she first told Gerry about her seeing eye dog and how it has helped her achieve independence.
