Labour conference discusses benefits of a “green economy”

Sustainable development, decent work and green jobs are among the items on the agenda at the 102nd International Labour Conference currently underway in Geneva, Switzerland.
A report presented at the conference by the International Labour Organization (ILO) addresses the challenges of achieving environmental sustainability and turning the vision of decent work for all into a reality.
It shows that not only are both challenges urgent, but they are also intimately linked and will have to be addressed together.
