Today, 8 March, is International Women’s Day. The first theme song for a UN organization called “One Woman: A song for UN Women” was launched today.

The “One Woman” song is a musical celebration of women worldwide, featuring 25 artists from 20 countries across.

“One Woman” gives us a message of hope and inspiration, says Michelle Bachelet, the Head of UN Women.

Beng Poblete-Enriquez sat down with Debi Nova, a singer-songwriter from Costa Rica. Debi encourages artists to use their power of communication to help others to break the cycle of violence against women.
