For the past twenty years the European Commission and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) have worked together in countries affected by emergencies and conflict.

On Tuesday, the Commission announced that it will continue to work with UNICEF to prioritize the needs of vulnerable people, especially the children in war-torn Syria.
