With the Rio+20 conference just weeks away, diplomats in New York are doing their part to promote sustainable urban transport.

They are participating in a bike ride near the United Nations headquarters on Friday, organized by The Netherlands Mission to the UN.

Dutch ambassador Herman Schaper says in a country where even the Prime Minister rides a bike to work, cycling in cities is nothing out of the ordinary.
