Ghana leads in drive to stop mother to child HIV transmission

Preventing mother to child transmission of HIV is the focus of a new campaign by UNAIDS.
The campaign, called ‘Believe It. Do It,’ is aimed at stopping new HIV infections among children and keep their mothers alive by promoting use of anti-retroviral drugs.
It was launched on Thursday in Ghana, one of 22 countries working to increase delivery of services to pregnant women.
