There has been considerable improvement in access to water, sanitation and hygiene or WASH, according to a new reported unveiled on Thursday.

Interestingly enough, the United Nations report is called the Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking Water or GLASS.

However, the report, released by the World Health Organization and UN-Water stresses that resources are needed to continue providing safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene to the people in need.
