Eastern and Southern Africa is making good progress in fighting HIV and AIDS, but challenges still remain.

That’s according to the United Nations Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).

UNAIDS says that three quarters of the 34 million people living with HIV in the world are in Eastern and Southern Africa.
