Seasoned official appointed to coordinate UN efforts to curb sexual abuse by peacekeepers

Facing a series of allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse by peacekeepers, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today named Jane Holl Lute, an American official with wide-ranging United Nations experience, to coordinate efforts to curb the scourge.
