The United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has ordered Croatian authorities to serve an indictment against Gen. Janko Bobetko, with a corresponding order that arrest warrants against the 84-year-old be dropped pending an assessment of his health and ability to travel.

A former high-ranking Rwandan camp commander charged with five counts of genocide and other war crimes today pleaded not guilty during his initial appearance before the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR).

Serbian politician Vojislav Seselj was transferred today to the United Nations war crimes tribunal in The Hague, where he is awaiting his initial appearance before the court on charges of crimes against humanity, and other crimes including participation in war propaganda and incitement of hatred towards non-Serb people.

The United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) today unanimously convicted a father and son of genocide and of crimes against humanity for participating in killings and attacks against a large number of Tutsi men, women and children who had sought refuge in a church and in the Bisesero area.
