New ICC ruling ‘opens the door’ for justice in occupied Palestine – Independent UN expert

The ruling of the International Criminal Court (ICC) that is does have jurisdiction over grave crimes committed in occupied Palestinian territory is a “significant step forward in the quest for justice and accountability”, an independent UN human rights expert said on Tuesday. 

Senior officials call on Israel to halt West Bank demolitions and respect international law

Three high-level UN officials on Friday issued a statement calling for Israel to end demolitions in the occupied West Bank, after meeting with members of a Bedouin community ousted from their homes earlier this week in the northern Jordan Valley, while their belongings were “seized or destroyed”.
