UN urges ‘fast-track’ approach to end AIDS epidemic by 2030

Taking a fast-track approach in the battle against AIDS over the next five years will avert 21 million deaths and allow the world to end the epidemic by 2030, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) said in a new report published today.

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham joins UN effort to achieve world free of HIV

The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) today appointed British fashion designer Victoria Beckham as its International Goodwill Ambassador, with a focus on women and children affected by the virus.
