Cuts to Gaza funding a ‘severe catastrophe,’ says UN Humanitarian Coordinator

Gazans are scraping by on just four hours of electricity per day due to fuel shortages, a crisis which the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for the occupied Palestinian territory, Jamie McGoldrick has called “a terrible situation.” He shared with Reem Abaza, of the UN News Arabic service, his experience with a power shutdown during a visit to a local children’s hospital.
