Education for girls is not a priority in her country Ethiopia, says Bogaletch Gebre, a women’s rights activist, stressing that their priority is taking care of the family and household chores.
Bogaletch Gebre, an Ethiopian women’s rights campaigner, was awarded the 2012-2013 King Baudouin African Development Prize in Belgium. The Prize was established in 1978 to promote social progress throughout the developing world and is now concentrating its efforts on Africa.
