Annan welcomes reports of upcoming talks between US, DPR of Korea and China

The United Nations Secretary-General, Kofi Annan, today welcomed reports on the forthcoming multilateral talks involving the United States, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and China in Beijing.
