A Security Council team landed in the Afghan capital, Kabul, today to assess the war-torn country’s progress towards peace and rebuilding, as well as to underscore the importance of regional cooperation for governance, security and development.
The Security Council today provided details of its mission later this month to Afghanistan, where it will reaffirm support for the Government and its people as they rebuild their strife-ridden country.
