UN Security Council extends term of former Yugoslavia tribunal
Stressing the need to bring those responsible for serious international crimes in former Yugoslavia to justice, the UN Security Council today extended the terms of office of seven of the permanent judges at the International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) until 30 November next year, or until the completion of the cases to which they were or would be assigned.
Mandate of UN observer force in the Golan extended until mid-2017
The Security Council today extended the mandate of the UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) for six months, until 30 June 2017, underscoring the need for the Force to have at its disposal all necessary means to carry out its mandate in safe and secure manner.
