Annan condemns latest suicide bombings in Israel

Reacting to the latest spate of suicide bombings in Israel, the United Nations Secretary-General, Kofi Annan, today once again voiced his strong condemnation and abhorrence of such acts.
"[T]he Secretary-General reiterates his unequivocal and longstanding condemnation of all terrorist acts from whatever quarter; attacks on innocent civilians are morally repugnant and contrary to international law," a spokesman for Mr. Annan said in a statement issued in response to the attacks carried out on Sunday and Monday.
