Three ways to implement interfaith dialogue from top official of UN’s inclusivity wing

13 September 2019

Global communication, understanding the value of religious freedom, and a solid framework are all key in implementing protection of religious sites.

That’s from  Miguel Moratinos, High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), referencing a Thursday announcement of new efforts by the agency to counter hate and violence around the globe.

He said the main objectives of the new plan are to raise awareness of the importance of religious sites and spirituality, and more importantly, offers concrete examples of how all sectors can come together to help achieve this.

Mr. Moratinos spoke to UN News’s Pascal Sim about UNAOC’s approach to implementing the changes.
