Hundreds of entrepreneurs from around the world are gathering in Bahrain to take part in a UN-led forum on innovation and growth.

The World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum, organized by the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the government of Bahrain, begins on Tuesday.

One of the main speakers will be President of the UN General Assembly, Miroslav Lajčák, who in an interview with UN News, described the forum as a “unique opportunity” to accelerate progress towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs.
