A Security Council resolution condemning the reported use of chemical weapons in the Syrian town of Khan Shaykhun, was vetoed by Russia on Wednesday.

Russia was joined by Bolivia in voting against the resolution drafted by the United Kingdom, United States, and France.

China, Ethiopia and Kazakhstan abstained.
