Merging science, technology and innovative ideas can help tackle the global challenges to development, a panellist at a UN conference on the topic has said.

Vaughan Turekian, science and technology adviser to the US Secretary of State, explained how these tools can be harnessed to advance the sustainable development goals or SDGs.
