Deaths attributable to tobacco could rise to eight million annually unless efforts are made to curb its usage, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said.

People in developing countries are expected to be most at risk according to The Economics of Tobacco and Tobacco Control report which looks at the economic, healthcare costs, and development challenges if more people smoke.
