Armed groups in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) continue to be a “growing threat” to the peace and stability of the entire region.

That’s according to the UN Special Envoy for Africa’s Great Lakes countries, Said Djinnit, in a report to the Security Council on Wednesday.
