Development projects can still thrive in South Sudan despite the almost three-year long civil conflict there and the ensuing humanitarian crisis, according to the UN.

The international community has been focussing on the response to the crisis which began in December 2013, but it has also launched a plan which it’s hoped will help to put the development of the country back on track.

Sani Martin has been speaking to Eugene Owusu, the head of the UN humanitarian office in South Sudan, OCHA, on the launch of the Interim Cooperation Framework or ICF as it is also known.
